This was my first time to Chicago. I’m from Detroit, and Amanda, was awesome! Very knowledgeable, of cannabis, and a professional budtender. I gotta say my overall experience was really enjoyable, and I look forward to being back soon. This is going to be my go to place, when I come to visit. In Chicago, the legal purchase limits for cannabis depend on whether you are an Illinois resident or an out-of-state visitor. Here are the specific amounts you can legally buy:

For Illinois residents:

  • Up to 30 grams of cannabis flower
  • Up to 500 milligrams of THC in cannabis-infused products (like edibles)
  • Up to 5 grams of cannabis concentrate

For non-residents (out-of-state visitors):

  • Up to 15 grams of cannabis flower
  • Up to 250 milligrams of THC in cannabis-infused products
  • Up to 2.5 grams of cannabis concentrate

These limits apply to each purchase and possession.

Products with different THC concentrations in cannabis are subject to varying tax rates:

  • Cannabis flower or items with less than 35% THC face a 10% tax.
  • Infused products like edibles have a 20% tax.
  • Items exceeding 35% THC have a 25% tax.

Additionally, the state’s standard 6.25% sales tax and local taxes up to 3.5% also apply.

The pricing of our menu varies depending on the product, but we aim to ensure affordability for all. Currently, 1/8ths are priced between $30 and $62.

You can legally consume cannabis on private property, such as your own home or a friend’s house, including areas like backyards or balconies, as long as the property owner permits it.

No, a medical card is not required for adult-use cannabis. However, medical cannabis patients must have a valid medical card to purchase medical cannabis products.
